During promotions for her 2003 film "Andaaz," Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Lara Dutta faced a distressing encounter in Delhi, where she was allegedly 'pinched' by an unknown man. Recalling the incident amidst promotions for her web series "Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond," Dutta revealed her firm stance against injustice, emphasizing her readiness to confront those who mistreat her.

In an interview, Lara Dutta shared her account of the unsettling incident, where she asserts that she responded assertively to the man's inappropriate behavior. She recounted, "So someone pinched me... I pulled him out and he fell down on the road. But then I bashed him up so badly, in a sari." Dutta further revealed that her co-star Akshay Kumar had to intervene to prevent further escalation, advising her against such actions given her status as an actor.

Apart from her personal anecdotes, Lara Dutta's upcoming role in "Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond" showcases her versatility as she portrays a power broker in the narrative surrounding the Balakot airstrikes carried out by the Indian Air Force in response to the Pulwama attack.
